Cheshire Police is currently reviewing the uniforms that are worn by Police Officers and PCSOs, to ensure that it is durable, comfortable and fit for purpose.

We are keen to raise police officer visibility in the local community, and as part of this review we would like to hear the views and opinions of members of the public, to help us decide what changes we make.

In this short survey, we would specifically like your opinion regarding the possible introduction of Hard Caps.

The new Hard Caps would not replace the traditional Custodian hats or Bowler hats that are currently worn by police officers on general patrol. Instead they would be used by officers who are responding to emergencies, many of whom currently wear flat caps.
